What types of teeth straightening are available in Northfleet?

Parrock Dental offers two types of teeth straightening – Invisalign and clear fixed braces.

Invisalign

Invisalign is made from a thin, clear plastic which sits over the top of your teeth like a gum shield. The clear aligners are practically invisible so no one will know that you’re having your teeth straightened.

Invisalign is made up of a series of custom-made removable aligners which allow for the gradual movement in your teeth. Wear your aligners at all times except for when you eat, drink anything other than water and to brush your teeth.

Your dentist will give you several sets of aligners upfront and you usually change these on a weekly basis until your teeth have reached their final position.

Clear fixed braces

Fixed braces remain the most accurate and precise way to straighten teeth. They are often the better option for more severe orthodontic issues and for severe bite problems.

Clear brackets are attached and fixed to your teeth for the duration of treatment and are gently guided into position with wires which connect the brackets. As the brackets are clear, this is another form of discreet teeth straightening which makes them very inconspicuous.

Once fixed to your teeth, you will need to check in with us every few weeks so that we can tighten your braces and check that the treatment is on course.

Im half way through my Invisalign treatment at parrock dental and i will be continuing to use these guys after i finish my treatment. When you enter the building you are always greeted with nice smiles from all the staff and some nice conversation which makes it feel like a nice environment to be in until you leave.
