How do clear fixed braces work?

Our highly skilled dentists have been fitting clear brace solutions here at Parrock Dental for years. Clear braces offer all the teeth straightening benefits of fixed braces
without metal brackets. Instead, they use clear ceramic brackets that blend seamlessly with your smile.

Your dentist in Gravesend or Northfleet will carefully attach a clear bracket to the front of each tooth. These are connected by a thin, metal archwire to gently move your teeth into their new straight position.

We'll ask you to pop into our practice every few weeks, so your dentist can check on the progress of your treatment and make any necessary adjustments to maintain just the right amount of pressure.

I had my initial appointment with Jacqueline who explained what do we need to do so I can be comfortable with the time frame and all costs. I was wearing Invisalign for 6 months. That was necessary to make a proper space for my implant. I am so pleased with my results. My teeth are straight, white and I feel amazing. Im half way through my Invisalign treatment at parrock dental and i will be continuing to use these guys after i finish my treatment. When you enter the building you are always greeted with nice smiles from all the staff and some nice conversation which makes it feel like a nice environment to be in until you leave. The guys are Parrock dental have been brilliant to me, always a friendly bunch of faces to see when you walk through the door. HOW LONG DOES TEETH STRAIGHTENING TAKE WITH CLEAR FIXED BRACES?

The length of your treatment will depend on your individual case and will be determined by your dentist here in Gravesend or Northfleet after a thorough dental assessment. Clear fixed braces are an effective solution with accurate results.

ARE CLEAR FIXED BRACES COMFORTABLE?

As with any orthodontic appliance, the braces can feel a little uncomfortable for the first few days, as they gently apply the pressure needed to guide your teeth into their new position. This should only last for a few days at most, at the beginning of your treatment and following any adjustment to your braces by your dentist.

WILL I HAVE TO WEAR A RETAINER?

Yes, as with any teeth straightening treatment, a retainer is necessary to maintain the straighter position of your teeth. If you don’t want to wear a removable retainer, you can have a bonded retainer placed. There are a variety of options that you can choose from, according to your personal preference and situation.
