Practice Manager

Qualifications and experience: NVQ in Customer service,  NVQ in Administration, currently studying an NVQ in Management. I have over 15 years experience working in a customer service based role.

Strengths/ specialist areas: I aim to give our patients the highest level of customer service and ensure that they are put at ease at every point on their journey with us. I enjoy speaking to new patients and finding out the story behind the treatment they are looking to have, and then seeing the fantastic results.

Best memory of working at PSD: Seeing a patient who, at the start of their treatment is really nervous and cannot look you in the eye, change into someone who is happy, chatty and confident, all due to the treatment the have had with us. 

Favorite part of the job: I love seeing new patients come in to see our fantastic treatment coordinator, showing them around the practice and seeing their “wow” reaction. I also love just chatting to patients and getting to know them on a personal level, so you can have a little catch up when they come for each of their appointments.

Plans for the future: I would like to develop my role so that the part I play in the patients experience is the best it can be. I would also like to complete my NVQ in management and move on to a few different courses to continue to widen my knowledge in every aspect of my role.
